Expectations are as high as they have ever been for the Clemson Tigers going into the 2019 college football season. After winning the national championship in dominant fashion, Dabo Swinney’s Tigers are trying to extend their reign atop the sport with Trevor Lawrence in his second year under center.
Clemson is favored to win the national championship at +200 (bet $100 to win $200), and Lawrence is the Heisman Trophy favorite at +275, per Oddschecker.
While the Tigers have a key piece in Lawrence returning, they have plenty of spots on the depth chart to fill, and Saturday’s spring game will give them a chance to look at players set for breakout seasons in 2019.
The Tigers enter their final week of spring practice, which will culminate in a final scrimmage in front of thousands of Tiger fans and broadcasted live on television and radio.
Though the annual scrimmage isn’t always indicative of how a player performed in the spring, it is a chance for fans to see the new talent, make their own analysis and get a final taste of football before it goes away for quite some time.
It’s expected that the spring game- a free event- will draw thousands of Tiger fans, but there are tons of fans that won’t be able to make it up to Death Valley for the game.
With that in mind, here is a look at everything you need to know to watch or listen to the Clemson football spring game live on Saturday.
